How do I join?

Becoming a member is easy! Get started by requesting a membership information packet. Contact us or call 312-751-3111 during regular business hours.

We ask that you make an initial deposit of at least $5.00 (equivalent of one share) to open your primary share (savings) account and maintain this minimum balance for the duration of your membership.

Once your account is open, the privileges and benefits of membership are yours as long as you remain in our field of membership and your account remains in good standing.

Important Information About Opening a New Account

Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What this means for you

When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, telephone number, date of birth, Social Security number, and your MWRDGC employee identification card that will allow us to identify you. We will also ask for your driver’s license (or government issued identification evidencing residence and bearing a photograph and signature).
